This badly damaged photo needed a lot of work. After replacing the background, I used the clone tool to recreate his sweater and to remove all those scratches from his skin. Then I used the smoothing tool and burned faded areas. Finally I changed it to black & white.

Do you remember that Afghan girl from the National Geographic magazine? I've taken this Cinderella and turned her into the belle of the ball. A lot of clone tool use, some smoothing and smudging and she's ready for Prince Charming.

This older photograph had endured years of unsafe storage and incurred numerous scratches and wrinkles. I gave it a new background, used the clonning tool to remove the leftover wrinkles, and sharpened it up a bit.

I've taken an old black and white photograph and given it new life by changing the hues and saturation levels.
